RAMSES AMARI VS ERIK THE WOLF

LAST. MAN. STANDING.

The Arena at Rose Hall was packed yet again for another evening of sweat, sport, and skill as another two men would face off in the squared circle for fame, fortune, and glory. Ramses Amari however, was no regular man. The self-proclaimed 'Child of Anubis' had more money than any one person could reasonably spend in a lifetime, though not for lack of trying. The arena would light up in hues of gold and red as sparks flew and spotlights descended upon the ramp. Woodwinds, strings, and percussion came together to play a distinctly Egyptian themed tune as a series of buff and well-oiled men appeared from backstage. They carried a golden palanquin upon their shoulders, and there upon Ramses stood, arms crossed his shoulders and dressed in a regal skirt and neckpiece, looking like a pharaoh come to life.

Ramses Amari (Central Design):

He was carried from the stage down to the ring where the palanquin was set done and Ramses steps off. His muscled attendants remove the cape and bracelets from his person and then assist him in climbing up the side of the ring. He slips through the middle of the ropes and stands tall and proud on the inside of the ring. He begins looking out over the crowd much like a ruler looks at his subjects and he begins to smirk widely.

Oh this was going to be fun.

Erik gets a lot of time in front of the cameras to let him smirk to the crowd as he makes his way around the ring, only finally cut off by the sound of Pantera on the loudspeakers. Erik threw his fist into the air and fireworks exploded in front of him, waiting for a moment for the smoke to clear as he walked forwards confidently. He threw his head forward to take off his mask, looking up at Ramses. This was almost like the Prince and the pauper here. He had to pick his mask up and take off his necklaces, handing them to the ref for safekeeping. He still had on a half wolf mask, tribal markings under his eyes, grey shorts that were designed as though they were the fur of a wolf and a look on his face that showed his disbelief as he examined his opponent.

Erik himself:

Ramses was hot, that wasn't a question. But he was also spoiled to the core. You don't have people oiled up, carrying you in a litter without a serious amount of money and without a care in the world. And that made Ramses dangerous. He tested the ropes behind his corner, as per usual. They seemed sturdy and Erik wasn't taking anything for granted. "You ready to have fun, Your Highness?" He mouthed at Ramses with a bit of a mischievous grin. Maybe he could get him off his game a bit.

Rules, blah blah. Questions, more blah blah. Erik just wanted the bell to ring so this match could start. Last Man Standing was rougher than most of the more sexual deviants in this federation, but he wasn't one to complain. Rougher was more his style.

Ramses folds his arms over his chest and turns his attention back to the stage as the lighting and music change for his opponent's entrance. There was quite a contrast in terms of production value and extravagance between the two, and Ramses remained thoroughly unimpressed. He looks at Erik almost with disdain as the other joins him in the ring. He unfurls his arms and places them on his hips as the referee beckons him to the center of the ring.

"Oh, what's this? The dog has manners, what a surprise..." he remarks with a haughty chuckle as he examines the ends of his nails. He nods along as the referee rattles off the usual pre-match spiel and reminds the wrestlers of the match type and rules. He flicks his mischievous amber eyes back up at Erik and looks at him directly now.

"You're going to lose, it's been pre-ordained. The sooner you accept it, the easier this will be for you~" he taunts once more with a smirk. The referee starts to backpedal now and makes room. Ramses rolls his neck and shoulders before raising his arms and assuming his ready position.

“Please, you’re nothing much more than a dog yourself, Child of Anubis. The only difference between you and I is you have money.”

He catches those amber eyes and looks over at him with his heterochromic ones confidently, gesturing to the ref. “I do not believe that square circle matters are in the purveyance of royalty, so let’s let him be the judge of this match and not you.” There’s the rolling of shoulders, the quick little stretches and the DING DING DING of the bell.

A favourite of Erik’s was to whip his opponent into the corner, but he decided that he would step to Ramses and greet him with a little wordplay first. “What goes around comes around, after all.” He whirled around, intending to hit the other with a quick discus lariat. It was confident. It was brash. It was rough around the edges. It kind of describes Erik as a wrestler.

Ramses chuckles haughtily as Erik tells him the only difference between them was money. The guy was clearly forgetting class, style, looks, basically every other category that mattered! Clearly this mutt was in need of a world-class education, and it seemed that he'd have to be his teacher. Very well, let the lessons begin!

The bell rings and Erik approaches him quickly in both word and action. He rolls his eyes at the guy's use of an overplayed cliche, he could use for some literary education as well. Nevertheless Ramses takes a half-step back to maintain his optimal striking distance and pivots slightly as he brings up his guard. Erik takes the initiative of first move with a spinning lariat to which Ramses accepts upon the outside of his bicep and forearm with a grunt. He returns fire with his opposite arm, a palm strike directed upwards at the jaw while he steps forward and to the side to attempt a flanking maneuver.

The goal here was to follow up with a low sinking punch just outside the tender kidney area, designed to hurt viscerally rather than cause any functional impairment. It would also be just technically legal if it landed, considering he aimed just low enough to avoid getting a warning.

Piffle. It was a nice lariat, but Ramses accepted it on the forearm and not the gut like he's intending, and the Anubis' palm strikes upwards, causing Erik to recoil a little bit. That flanking, however, was easy because Erik wasn't using his legs to move, and Ramses stepped right into him and snapped a low sinking punch into his gut. This guy was clearly experienced because it made the Wolf wince as he hung backwards, but he tried to make the most of it by grabbing for Ramses' hair, trying to latch onto him and bring him down in a DDT attempt. He'd even let out a howl if it connected, just to play back to the crowd.

Thus far, he was kind of impressed and felt a bit stood up. The man had money, what more could he want out of a wrestling match?

PostSubject: Re: The Jackal Fights The Wolf   The Jackal Fights The Wolf Icon_minitimeSat Oct 31, 2020 11:43 pm

Ramses is quite pleased with landing his strike and would normally take the opportunity to gloat had Erik not had a counter-attack ready and launched at him. He hisses with displeasure as his hair is grabbed and used as a leverage point to drag him inwards. Erik falls back and brings the Egyptian with him, though Ramses manages to soften his landing slightly with an outstretched arm. Still hurt like a bitch though.

Ramses rolls away from Erik and pushes up onto his hands and knees. He rubs the impacted side of his temple and looks up at his opponent with venom in his eyes. He was pissed that Erik had the gall to yank his perfectly styled hair like that, and the annoying little wolf howl he did was only further aggravating him. Though he doesnt say anything as he picks himself up from the mat, his body language and expression telegraph his mood quite clearly.

Ramses then lunges at Erik with a double-handed overhead axe handle swinging downward. He wanted his opponents eyes and guard fixated upwards to prep for his follow-up move. He'd attempt to grapple the man to keep his arms pre-occupied and then start firing a series of quick and sharp knee thrusts aimed for the gut.

Sometimes, a face was trained in the subtle art of not giving a fuck. He looked over and saw those venom-laced orbs and his eyes met those with a bit of a smirk. He brings his arms up to block that axe handle with his forearms, and easily gets grappled by Ramses around the chest and neck as their bodies collide.

BAM! Knee thrust to the gut, unprotected. BAM! Second one. Erik let out a grunt at that, trying to tug up and down, hoping to hit the royal with a jawbreaker to get him to let go of that stupid grapple and kneeing combination before Ramses was wrecking his body some more. It was painful, and it seemed like Ramses was very interested in the body shots. If that jawbreaker didn't work, at least Erik thought he'd have a lower center of gravity to push Ramses off of him, because right now he was on him like a dog on a pork chop. And ERIK was the wolf here.

Ramses was indeed fixated on body shots for this fight, as in his experience they were the quickest way to weaken the defenses of the mind. Targeting the same area over and over was faster than exhausting him overall, and made him more pliable to being worked over in move after move. For it was not going to be enough to just beat him physically, Ramses sought to also create a lasting memory for both his opponent, and the adoring audience, that he was not to be trifled with.

Erik begins to thrash up and down trying to break Ramses stream of attacks, but he's got a pretty solid grip on him backed up by an unhealthy amount of dedication to the cause.
"You. Will. Learn. You-rghhh!" Ramses intent to monologue is interrupted mid-sentence by awful clattering of his teeth as bottom jaw is forced to meet top jaw thanks to Erik's meddling. Ramses breaks away and staggers backwards in shock and aggravation, aggressively rubbing his chin and double-checking that he hadn't accidentally bitten his tongue or something horrid of that nature.

Let the uneducated man break the monologue by the heel, it's bound to cause few problems. Right? Right... But Ramses recoiled from that jawbreaker and Erik grinned at the other man as he slowly took a breather, getting back to his feet. For now, with Ramses standing upright and not looking too great, he throws a high dropkick at that upper body, trying to meet fire with fire by sending Ramses towards the ropes. He'd land on his knees, regardless of if it connected or not.

If that didn't quite work, he'd try getting Ramses on top of his shoulders and get up, looking to put him into an argentine backbreaker rack and twist around, showing the Child of Anubis off to the crowd.

Ramses shifts slightly to the side to avoid being hit in the center of the chest by the dropkick, and this reduces the effect from worst case scenario to just less than ideal. His bicep and the side of his pec will have a dull ache from where Erik's heels struck him, and the transferred momentum sends him reeling backwards. He swings his arms trying to recover control, but accepts that he'd rather drop to his knee than fall or get caught up with a bounce from the ropes.

"Oi! What're you-!!" he complains loudly as Erik pulls him back up and starts aligning him with his shoulders. The would-be prince is then lifted into the air atop his opponent's shoulders in an argentine backbreaker, leaving his arms and legs dangling under the bright overhead arena lights. Not a comfortable position to be in for sure. "R-release me!" he hisses vehemently through gritted teeth. Ramses grunts and growls as he grabs at Erik's hand controlling his upper half. He tries to claw and dig his fingers in to convince the Wolf to release. He also begins to kick and wiggle, despite the pain in his back it self-inflicts. There was a certain reputation he wanted to uphold, and being carried around the ring like some common trophy did not vibe with that reputation at all.

Erik wasn’t expecting both parts of the move to work, but he is overjoyed by this. He is now racking Ramses over his back and he compresses downwards with a grin. “Never, Your Highness. I have a match to win.” However, those fingers dig into his hand, and eventually Ramses strikes a nerve and gets him to let go, and then the wriggling helps even more.

Anticipating that he can no longer hold Ramses due to the wriggling and kicking, Erik gets into a position where he isn’t going to just drop him square to the mats on his back or side or however Ramses falls. And sure enough, that grip can’t be controlled anymore and Erik drops Ramses, though based on his positioning the Child of Anubis should be landing on his feet right in front of The Wolf, who was on one knee to sort of let him down. Still, the backbreaker rack was effective and Erik wished he could’ve held it on more and really racked Ramses downwards. He got back up to his feet, ready to do more damage with a grin. This was turning out to be quite fun for him.

Ramses continues to struggle against his captor like a cornered dog, probably using more energy than necessary but it was a testament to how strong his desire to end this disgraceful showing as soon as possible. His efforts are rewarded in short order too, Erik seems forced to abandon the hold as he drops to a knee and slides Ramses off onto his feet. The would-be prince hops once or twice with stiffened posture thanks to the residual ache in the spine before catching his balance and tightening his hands into fists.

He didn't have words for his opponent this time this time, just the silent icy glare of promised vengeance. He surges forward and unleashes a flurry of jabs and strikes, aiming at chest, jaw, temple, anything he could set his sights on. He meant to act with such frequency that Erik hardly had time to throw a counter before needing to block or dodge the next incoming strike. He again wanted to distract Erik so that his chances of landing the leg sweep would be greater. Additionally, Ramses would drop to one knee after performing the sweep, intending for Erik to fall upon it.

Those distractions were effective. They were so fast that Erik had little choice but to block them and yet it wasn’t the optimal strategy. He couldn’t help but feel like he was getting punched into a corner a bit, but that was all part of the plan. That leg slammed into his own and he would’ve been knocked prone had Ramses let him go, but instead his spine slammed right down on that knee and he jolted forwards with and aggravated grunt and a gasp, ending up rolling over to his front and holding his back.

That knee had dug right into his kidney based on how he fell and whether he liked it or not, it hurt like a bitch. He rolled on the canvas, getting to the outside of the ring and taking a breather as he held his back. At least for a moment he wasn’t quite looking up at Ramses, which may have been dangerous. But he needed something to take the pain away - in his addled mind, time. The wolf might not have that, though.

Ramses pulse quickens as he feels Erik land upon his knee with a lovely dull smacking sound and then crumple to the canvas before him. He rises up to his feet with moderate chest heaving, and his angered expression had shifted to a more pleased one. That was more like it, Erik in his rightful place at his feet. He begins to lift his foot in order to stomp down on him, but his heel strikes nothing but mat as the mutt starts rolling himself out of the ring.

"And where do you think you're going!?" he asks as if insulted that his opponent had chosen to make some space between them. He sweeps a hand back over his forehead and pulls his hair out of his face while taking a few steps back. He then runs full speed towards the ropes and drops into a baseball slide. Ramses zips beneath the bottom rope with feet extended for a sliding dropkick he wanted to plant in Erik's backside.

"Getting away from you," Erik responded without even skipping a beat, and the crowd roared their approval.

Have you ever been kicked in the ass? Erik sure hadn't. Well, he just experienced that as Ramses dropped into a baseball slide and slammed into him from behind, sending him staggering into the barricade, chest first. He gripped the barricade, using it to pull himself up and turn around, looking to try and counter Ramses with a European uppetcut - unless he grabbed the Wolf first, of course. With the two of them outside the ring, this was dangerous territory and Erik knew it.

Ramses collects himself from the apron floor and rises to his feet with a smirk upon seeing Erik hanging off the barricade like that. He rushes into the fray once more, head tilted down and elbow jutted out as he intends to ram into Erik and re-introduce him to the tough barricade. The european uppercut slams into Ramses chest rather than his head thanks to this, and he crashes into the wolf at full speed relatively unhindered.

"Nghhh" he grunts as he claws at the side of the barricade and tries to right himself. He needs the support so he can re-orient and ready his free fist to start landing sloppy blows into Erik's chest or jaw, whatever was left undefended.

Erik doesn't look to be in a forgiving mood, and after that European uppercut hits, he's got Ramses close to his body and looking a little weakened. Sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do. Rather than try pushing him off, he tries to get Ramses into a headlock and turns to the side, fully intending to hit him with a tornado DDT onto the floor.

Ramses had other plans and lays his fist into Erik's jaw, startling him for just a moment as he stumbles with the DDT attempt. He tries throwing his leg up into Ramses' gut to try to get him to be a bit more compliant.

Ramses is drawn into a headlock by his opponent, but the position doesn't completely stop him from continuing his assault. His fist smashes Erik's jaw, but in a testament to the guy's endurance, it doesnt seem to stall him for long enough. Erik stumbles slightly, dragging Ramses with him, who grabs onto his waist to steady himself in this bent over position with cheek scrunched up against the man's side.

"Hrghh!" he coughs out as a knee finds its way into his gut from Erik. "You're really starting to piss me off, mutt!" Ramses hisses angrily as he tightens his fingers into a fist. He cocks his arm back and drives it into Erik's side now for some immediate retaliation. He'd tug backwards and try to slip his head free of the lock as well, no sense in giving Erikany more opportunities to attack after all.

"What's wrong, Your Highness? Scared of being taken down by a wolf?" He chuckles and looks like he's just about ready to get that DDT on the go, but Ramses' arm barrels into his side, winding him. As he coughs he finds the barrier, using that to support himself as Ramses tugs his head free and can appraise the situation.

The ref by this point has had enough of their outside the ring shenanigans and is yelling at both of them to get back in, but Erik really didn't care. This was Last Man Standing after all. Erik had to make a move, right? Else Ramses would force him against the barricade. He wasn't quite close enough to get Ramses with a punch... but the barricade was available. He grunted, put his head down and charged forwards, trying to spear Ramses close to the ring apron or barricade, whichever was more convenient.

Ramses chooses not to dignify Erik's taunt with a response as he instead rolls his shoulders out now that he's freed his head. He brings his guard up to resume a striking stance, and the ref is shouting some odd nonsense that he's not paying attention to either. He narrows his gaze at Erik as he steps forward to throw a hook, but Erik goes lower and charges into his waist.

"Hrkk!" the Egyptian grunts as he tries to spread his stance and push into the floor. Without boots however the flooring is too slick for his bare feet to find good stopping traction on, and he starts sliding back more quickly than he would have liked. WHAM! Ramses back slams against the apron with a shout of pain. It's only quick thinking that saves him from dropping to the ground, as he reaches up to catch himself on the middle ropes.

In fact, it's the same quick thinking that leads him to his next move. Ramses jumps up and kicks his legs out to try and catch Erik's head between his thighs for a crushing good time. Just like those youtube videos he'd seen, Ramses would try to viciously crush the wolf's head like a summer melon. He'd be dangling from the middle ropes, but he'd have his headscissors if this went according to plan.

WHAM. Erik throws his body forwards and slams Ramses back against the apron, and the wolf thinks he's got his man dead to rights. But Ramses was a tricky guy, grabbing the ropes to stop himself from going to the floor. Jumping up, Erik sees Ramses' princely gear coming towards his head. And suddenly he's in a headscissors, pressed against that gold plated bird, getting a little too close to it for his liking as it's smooshed up against his face. Even plastic, he didn't like it much.

Those thighs crushed against his head and earned a muffled grunt of displeasure from Erik's lips as he slid his arms beneath the thighs, trying to get to a standing position to move backwards. With Ramses' arms on the ropes Erik knows if he can get back far enough to loosen Ramses' grip, he has an excellent chance of powerbombing that Child of Anubis outside the ring and maybe laying him out.

Ramses grins through gritted teeth as he crushes Erik's head and the wolf lets out grunts of displeasure and pain. He lets Erik get a lovely view of that plated bird on his waist while he rests easy in comparison. However, he is aware of how precarious the situation is for him -- one solid jerk and he might lose his grip, sending him right towards another hard bump against the apron to either the back or head. He feels the wolf's paws sliding around his thighs and assumes that Erik has come to the same conclusion.

"What was that? I couldn't quite hear you..." he taunts as Erik starts to pull back away from the ring and extend Ramses out. He chooses to play things safe for now and he releases Erik's head from his thighs, only to use his chest as a springboard to propel himself back into the ring while the wolf staggers around in the apron. Ramses draws himself back up to his feet and brushes off, then moves to lean forward on the ropes with a smirk as he looks down at Erik.

"You know, you could always disqualify yourself by ring out, save yourself the trouble of trying to defeat your superior. Mutts belong down in the dirt anyway~" he sneers with glee and runs a hand back through his hair.

Erik thinks he's got Ramses in trouble, but the Child of Anubis releases him and those feet kick him backwards, Erik getting smacked backwards while Ramses gets back into the ring. He grunts as he looks up at Ramses, eyes narrowing a bit. "I don't hear the ref counting me out, do you? Not like I'm down on the floor or anything." Whether by design or unintentional, Erik was starting to get annoyed with Ramses.

He moves to another side of the ring, paying attention to Ramses' movements to see if he's going to chase him and trying to get up to the ring apron. If Ramses got close, he'd try grabbing Ramses' head to pull down pretty hard, trying to use the ropes. Else he'd get in normally and get into a ready position.

Ramses straightens up and folds his arms over his chest while he waits. He paid no attention to the truth in Erik's statement, the only thing that mattered right now was the audience's attitude towards the match, and of course, Ramses's own enjoyment. He follows Erik's movements with his eyes as the wolf circles around the ring cautiously but doesn't move from his spot. Ramses strums his finger along his arm impatiently and gives his opponent a look like he hasn't got all day to wait around for him.

Ramses waits for Erik to start climbing up into the ring and then he springs into action. He races across the ring to engage the wolf, and launches himself into the air with fist cocked back. He swings his arm forward and aims at the face for a big superman punch, hoping to catch Erik still readying himself and thus unprepared.
